Welcome and thank you for visiting my website. I am a licensed psychotherapist offering individual therapy and clinical hypnosis services to adults and adolescents in Berkshire County, Massachusetts.
Finding the right therapist can be a challenging task. One of the most important factors of effective therapy is a feeling of connection with the therapist. I strive to create a safe, respectful environment in which clients can feel comfortable to express themselves and explore whatever is most important to them. I believe that people have within themselves the ability to make changes and create a life that is satisfying. I use a variety of methods to help adolescents and adults achieve their goals, and I tailor my counseling sessions to each individual’s needs. My style is warm and compassionate, and I build upon each person’s strengths and resources. Goals are attained through gaining a deeper understanding of one’s own thoughts and feelings, practicing new skills (such as relaxation, interacting with others, taking care of oneself, etc.) and at times, learning new ways to think about and react to situations.

I have been providing psychotherapy and clinical services in Berkshire County for over 17 years. I earned my Master in Social Work degree from the University at Albany, State University of New York in 1994, and have my LICSW (Licensed Independent Clinical Social Worker) in the state of Massachusetts. I received my BA in Psychology and Spanish from Elmira College in 1990.

I accept insurance from the companies listed below. If you choose to use your health insurance I am required to provide the insurance company with a mental health diagnosis. Some clients prefer to not use their insurance, but instead pay the fees themselves for greater privacy and control over the course of their treatment.
